Guests  were drawn into the atmosphere of suspense, legend, and lingering spirits, as the series delved into the unseen and the eerie history hidden within our walls. Being chosen as the inaugural location set the tone for what would become a groundbreaking exploration of the paranormal, and left a lasting impression as a place where the mysterious, the haunted, and the unforgettable collide.

  On Sunday, October 26th, our location hosted a truly extraordinary Gallery Reading with Derek Slater and his mentor, Kathrine Sorilos. Traveling all the way from Greece, Kathrine joined Derek for a rare and deeply meaningful event, offering guests a unique opportunity to witness the powerful connection between teacher and student, and the art of spiritual guidance at its finest.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees were captivated by insightful readings, profound messages, and a sense of connection that transcended distance and culture. The combination of Derek’s approachable, skilled guidance and Kathrine’s decades of experience created an atmosphere that was both enlightening and unforgettable. Guests left the event inspired, moved, and with memories of a truly one-of-a-kind experience that bridged continents, traditions, and the unseen world.

 On Saturday, October 3rd, we proudly hosted the 3rd Annual Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo, drawing in over 2,500 curious and daring guests and continuing our mission of “Changing the Way You Paracon!” The air was thick with mystery and anticipation as attendees explored the unknown and immersed themselves in a world where the paranormal and the unexplained collide.

Adding to the spine-tingling excitement, the Expo was one of the final stops on the NESPR Devils on the Run Tour, featuring the infamous Annabelle Doll—an artifact once owned by the late Ed and Lorraine Warren and forever immortalized by The Conjuring film series. From eerie exhibits to chilling tales and hands-on encounters, guests experienced a day steeped in intrigue, legend, and the thrill of the unknown—making this year’s Expo an unforgettable journey into the dark and mysterious corners of the supernatural.

  On Saturday, October 4th, as part of the Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo, Get Haunted and Friends hosted a sold-out VIP Investigation that brought chills, thrills, and unforgettable moments to attendees. Joining them were The Haunted Files and Hunger Nights from Greece, creating an international lineup of paranormal experts dedicated to exploring the unknown.

Guests were guided through shadowed corners and haunted spaces, experiencing firsthand the suspense, mystery, and unexplained phenomena that make paranormal investigations so electrifying. The combination of local lore, intense investigation techniques, and the presence of seasoned paranormal teams turned the night into a once-in-a-lifetime experience, leaving participants with stories—and perhaps a few goosebumps—they will never forget.

Spirits, Squatches & Stories Around the Campfire crept out of the shadows of West Point, Kentucky, leaving behind its haunted stronghold at Fort Duffield. Hosted by Packman Paranormal (Ernie & Denise Pack), alongside The Black Wolf Paranormal (Todd & Leanne Escue) and the infamous Squatchman (Greg Yost), the chilling gathering crossed state lines to unleash its tales of the unknown on Rock Island. For the first time ever, the event also featured a special CE-5 Investigation, inviting participants to look to the skies, make contact, and experience the unknown in an entirely new way as the campfire burned late into the night. 

 On Friday, October 2025, the incredibly talented Dr. Rebecca Foster captivated guests by offering a rare and intimate glimpse into her extraordinary abilities. Throughout the evening, attendees were drawn into a powerful experience that blended insight, intuition, and connection, leaving many with moments they would not soon forget. Her presence added a profound and unforgettable dimension to the event, creating an atmosphere filled with curiosity, wonder, and a sense that something truly remarkable was unfolding. 

 The Second Annual Rock Island Roadhouse Paracon grew darker, stranger, and more thrilling than ever, continuing its mission of “Changing the Way You Paracon!” This year, an astonishing 1,674 brave souls passed through the doors, stepping into a world where the unknown lurks around every corner and the unexplained waits to be discovered. Tales of the paranormal, encounters with the unusual, and the thrill of the unknown filled the air, captivating attendees and leaving them on edge with anticipation.

As the night drew to a close, the excitement reached its peak with a Get Haunted VIP Investigation, giving a select group of guests the rare opportunity to explore the shadows firsthand, uncover hidden secrets, and experience the unknown in a truly unforgettable way. The evening left a lingering sense of wonder, mystery, and the undeniable feeling that the supernatural is never far away, solidifying the Paracon’s reputation as a trailblazer in the paranormal community.

The Haunted Rock Island Roadhouse proudly presented Seeing Through the Unknown Veil with Vanessa Staron on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

The evening began with a captivating Gallery Reading by the extraordinary Vanessa Staron, followed by an immersive paranormal investigation that left attendees spellbound.

A natural-born psychic medium, Vanessa comes from a long line of healers, witches, and energy workers of Romanian Gypsy descent. Drawing upon her rich heritage, she uses a variety of divination techniques to answer questions, connect with passed loved ones, and even communicate with animals, providing guests with an unforgettable experience that bridges the worlds of the living and the unseen.

On April 20, 2024, We Are Paranormal Kids teamed up with Linduh Roelens & Jessica of ParaGem and Dom and Dana Tuff for an unforgettable Kids Night event. The night sold out, and young investigators had a blast diving into the mysterious and unknown.

The evening began with Linduh and Jessica of ParaGem introducing the kids to paranormal basics and teaching them how to use the equipment that real investigators rely on. Once everyone was ready, the event shifted into a hands-on paranormal investigation, guided by We Are Paranormal Kids, ParaGem, and Dom and Dana Tuff, giving young participants the chance to explore the unexplained in a safe, exciting, and educational environment.

 2024 Was Ringed in Paranormal Style!

The new year kicked off with a thrilling paranormal investigation, led by We Are Paranormal, that had guests exploring the unknown well into the night. The evening included a Haunted Happy Hour with coffee and sweets, a delicious meal, a midnight countdown, and a sparkling champagne toast to welcome 2024 in true supernatural fashion. Guests experienced the excitement of the unknown while celebrating in style, making it a New Year’s Eve unlike any other!

  On October 7, 2023, the Rock Island Roadhouse hosted its first annual Rock Island Roadhouse Paracon, marking the beginning of a new era in “Changing the Way You Paracon!” The event drew an impressive 1,600+ attendees, all eager to explore the world of the paranormal. The night’s excitement culminated in a VIP Investigation hosted by ACG Paranormal, giving select guests an exclusive opportunity to experience the unknown firsthand. It was an unforgettable kickoff that set the stage for many more spine-tingling adventures to come.
